THE JOURNEY TO OBTAIN A NEVADA SMOG LICENSE
(Click for details)
Obtaining a State of Nevada smog license is a three-part process.
1. Complete a 20-hour course for the Nevada 1G smog license by a business approved by the State of Nevada.
2. Complete the State of Nevada “Rules and Regulations” course provided by the State of Nevada Emissions Lab. Before you do this, you will have to fill out an application form to submit to the DMV Emissions lab for approval to take the course. The application includes a portion that will need to be filled out by the Nevada smog station you work for. If you don’t work for a Nevada smog station, then your application will not be accepted.
3. Complete the State of Nevada Emissions Lab practical test.
